Bayern Munich president Uli Hoeness has cooled any speculation that the club will be making a move for Brazilian star Neymar.
The 21-year-old is regarded as one of the hottest prospects in world football, with a number of top European clubs already involved in a tug of war.
The German outfit have seemingly ruled themselves out of any such battle for the Santos player's signature, though, with Hoeness revealing they are not interested.
Bayern broke the German transfer record last summer when they secured at €40 million deal for Athletic Bilbao's Javi Martinez, but the club president has made it clear they will not be splashing the cash this time round.
"I do not think that in the next few years we will buy a player that is more expensive than [Javi] Martinez," he said.
