Steve Nicol said that Manchester United would not have parted with Marouane Fellaini this month. Fellaini continued difficulty adjusting to life at Old Trafford and often received criticism from United fans, since it was purchased at a price of 27.5 million pounds from Everton in 2013. The
Belgian player has been lost as a starter under coach Jose Mourinho in recent weeks and is expected to go in January.
There are several teams in Italy are reportedly interested in the 29-year-old player. However the Liverpool legend, Nicol, convinced that Fellaini will not go anywhere this month.
"I think he will indeed be moved, but obviously it's not going to happen in January. As far as I know, Schneiderlin will move from United this month," said Nicol according to ESPN .
"So it will give a chance Fellaini to fill the holes that exist, if they will have constraints injury or ban play in midfield. I absolutely can not imagine Fellaini will go."
Fellaini had made no fewer than 19 appearances for United this season, but often he just entered as a substitute.
