Toure: We have to keep going

Yaya Toure insists Manchester City must try to win all of their remaining games because nobody can say for certain that Manchester United will win the Premier League title.
United hold a commanding 12-point lead with only 11 games remaining and the red half of Manchester are the overwhelming favourites to take back the crown they lost in dramatic circumstances last season.
City managed to overturn an eight-point deficit in the final six matches to clinch the title in the final minute of the season last year and, while few expect United to throw away a 12-point lead, Toure believes the Blues must continue to fight for as long as there is a mathematical chance of them denying their neighbours a 20th league crown.
“We have to keep on going and try and win all our games because we know United are in the top spot,” Toure told CityTV.
“We needed 12 wins and we have to keep on going because we don’t know the future and you can’t say it is finished.
“For the football club and the fans, you can’t give up now. We have 11 games remaining and in sport you never know what can happen in the future”
City’s final 11 fixtures include tricky ties against Everton, Tottenham and United, while they also have matches against relegation threatened Aston Villa and Reading.
United, meanwhile, have games against Arsenal, Chelsea, Reading and Sunderland and Toure believes his side face a tougher run in, which will make their task that bit harder.
“We know we have a big calendar, more difficult than them, but we have to keep on going and try and win matches and not let any points [slip] away,” he added.
