Reject Evra, Mourinho Will Give Chance Shaw

Evra is a popular figure periods when he was playing at Old Trafford and lately he is often associated with the plan back to United. 

However, Mourinho called not interested in signing French players back and ready to give Shaw a chance to play more often, when he recovered from the injury he experienced later. 

The report claimed that Mourinho had spoken to Shaw about how he had to restore the focus on this season. 

Shaw suffered a groin injury during United's 1-3 defeat at the hands of Watford and since then she had difficulty to restore fitness. He never again played in the league since late October, when he played for 90 minutes when the teams played a goalless draw against Burnley. 

Mourinho also criticized several times the England players this season, but it seems the manager is now ready to give a second chance on the former Southampton.

'Fellaini It will not leave Manchester United'

Steve Nicol said that Manchester United would not have parted with Marouane Fellaini this month. 

Fellaini continued difficulty adjusting to life at Old Trafford and often received criticism from United fans, since it was purchased at a price of 27.5 million pounds from Everton in 2013. The

Belgian player has been lost as a starter under coach Jose Mourinho in recent weeks and is expected to go in January. 

There are several teams in Italy are reportedly interested in the 29-year-old player. However the Liverpool legend, Nicol, convinced that Fellaini will not go anywhere this month. 

"I think he will indeed be moved, but obviously it's not going to happen in January. As far as I know, Schneiderlin will move from United this month," said Nicol according to ESPN . 

"So it will give a chance Fellaini to fill the holes that exist, if they will have constraints injury or ban play in midfield. I absolutely can not imagine Fellaini will go." 

Fellaini had made no fewer than 19 appearances for United this season, but often he just entered as a substitute.

Wenger is 'failure specialist' - Mourinho

Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho has hit back in a bitter war of words with Arsene Wenger after branding the Arsenal boss a "specialist in failure".
Mourinho was angry with Wenger's comments on Friday that the Premier League title is current leaders Chelsea's to lose because they are sitting at the summit of the division.

Wenger, whose side are one point behind their London rivals in the title race, also claimed that many of the teams at the top are afraid to back themselves due to a fear of failure, with Mourinho having labelled Chelsea the "little horse" behind Manchester City and Arsenal.

Yet, just hours later, ahead of the FA Cup fifth-round tie at Manchester City on Saturday, Blues manager Mourinho used his pre-match press conference to offer a stinging rebuke to his French rival, who has gone eight years without winning a major trophy.

"He (Wenger) is a specialist in failure," Mourinho told reporters at Chelsea's training ground in Cobham, south of London. "I am not.

"If supposedly he (Wenger) is right and I am afraid of failure it is because I don't fail many times.

I'm not used to failure

"Maybe he's right -- I'm not used to failure," added Mourinho, who boasts an impressive list of honours after winning the Premier League twice in his first spell as Chelsea manager between 2004 and 2007, as well as claiming the Champions League with Porto and Inter Milan and taking league titles in four countries.

"But the reality is he (Wenger) is a specialist because eight years without a piece of silverware, that's failure," the Portuguese added in a reference to Arsenal's trophy 'drought' since winning the 2005 FA Cup.

"If I do that with Chelsea, eight years, I leave London and I don't come back. I'm not fearing anything in football," said Mourinho, who nine years ago branded Wenger a "voyeur".

Chelsea travel to Manchester aiming for a third win over City this season after completing a league double earlier this month courtesy of a solitary strike by Branislav Ivanovic.

Mourinho will be without centre-back pair John Terry and Gary Cahill through injury, but he has his sights set on booking a quarter-final spot in the competition that he won with Chelsea when they beat Manchester United in extra-time in the 2007 final at Wembley.

"The FA Cup is big and beautiful," said Mourinho. "It's beautiful for everybody and the draw made it even more so, because two big teams will be knocked out.

"We are confident, but they (City) will be too. It is not easy to play consecutive matches against the same team...We know they are strong."

He added: "Our priority is always the next match.

A fear to fail

"There is no Champions League, there is no Premier League, there is only the FA Cup. Every game for us is a priority," Mourinho insisted.

Earlier, Wenger -- now the Premier League's longest-serving manager after arriving at Arsenal in 1996, said of the title race: "We are in it, yes we will have a go for it, we will absolutely give everything to go for it."

Asked why so many other managers were saying their teams were not contenders, Wenger replied: "It is (because of a) fear to fail."

This week also saw Mourinho round on Manuel Pellegrini after the City manager, whose big-spending club are bankrolled by oil-rich Abu Dhabi-based owner Sheikh Mansour, questioned Chelsea's recent forays into the transfer market.

"I think he (Pellegrini) is a fantastic coach...and on top of that he's an engineer.

"I don't think an engineer needs a calculator to do (Juan) Mata (sold for) £37 million ($61m, 44.5m euros) and (Kevin) de Bruyne (sold for) £18m, so that's £55m. (Nemnaja) Matic is £21m and (Mohamed) Salah is £11m. That's £32m.

"Fifty-five minus thirty-two is 23. So Chelsea, in this transfer window, generated £23m.

"We are building a team for the next decade, if possible. They (City) have a team to win now because they don't have a team for 10 years."

Hulk’s wish to quit the Russian League and link up with Mourinho could prove pivotal

Brazil striker Hulk has confirmed Jose Mourinho wants him at Stamford Bridge and has bid around £35million to lure him away from Zenit St Petersburg.
Zenit have so far resisted Chelsea’s approaches and made it clear they want to recoup more of the near-£50million they paid Porto for the explosive frontrunner at the start of last season.
Hulk’s wish to quit the Russian League and link up with Mourinho could prove pivotal, and he underlined his eagerness to press for a move by admitting he knew Chelsea had made a bid.

Asked about it at a Brazil press conference on Thursday afternoon, he replied: ‘If I said there wasn’t anything in it, I would be lying. But that is not for now. At the moment, I am 100 per cent focused on the Selecao (Portuguese for the Brazil team), and I hope to be a Confederations Cup winner with my country.
‘It is a matter of great pride for me to be playing in the yellow jersey, so near to my family. Other matters will have to wait until afterwards.’
Though Zenit have rejected Chelsea’s initial offer, it will remain on the table, in the belief that a lack of alternative bids will force the Russian club to relent and sanction Hulk’s departure to Stamford Bridge.
Hulk’s stance has raised hopes within Chelsea that the transfer will go through and one of the game’s most colourful and dynamic strikers will spearhead a new-look attack under Mourinho next season.

'I'm committed to Real Madrid for now'

Jose Mourinho has insisted that he is currently fully committed to Spanish outfit Real Madrid.

The former Chelsea manager has been heavily linked with a return to the Premier League at the end of the current campaign, with his services having been paired with the Blues as well as Manchester City and Manchester United.



However, when asked by Sky Sports News about his future, the 50-year-old replied: "I am in Madrid and I am very, very committed to the club's ambitions for the remainder of the season. People know that I am professional and for the moment I only think about my job in Real."



The Portuguese boss did go on to confess, though, that he had been partly responsible for the speculation.



"There is a lot of talk but people need to understand that I can be in London very often. We have a house here and we love it here. Being in London is a very normal thing for us," he added.



"Every time I come people start immediately making connections to a return. I feed it because I say every day that I love it and will return one day. To be fair I give a little contribution to speculation."



Mourinho spent three years at Stamford Bridge, where he won six major honours.

Mourinho : I may comeback

Jose Mourinho has told Sky Sports he loves London, he will return to the Premier League and, most intriguingly, he will not rule out a return to Chelsea.

The Real Madrid boss was in the capital after having attended Brazil's game with Russia at Stamford Bridge on Monday evening.



Mourinho is widely expected to leave Real this summer, and suggested last week that he was ready to return to one of his former jobs, which many people took as a hint he would be back at Chelsea.

Speaking exclusively to Sky Sports News, he admitted he still loves English football and confirmed his passion for Chelsea remains.

"In this moment, I am completely independent of talks and speculations, and people who know me, know me well enough that I think about my job at Real Madrid," Mourinho said.

He joked that the current freezing weather conditions in England was not enough to put him off.

"I cannot deny that, despite this weather, I love it here, and as I said I have a house and I have big emotional connections with Chelsea and one day I think naturally I will have to be back to English football, or to Chelsea or to another club.

"Of course, Chelsea means to me differently than other clubs. Chelsea is in my heart as Inter is for example.

"One day I have to be back but again it is normal that I am in London. The same way I walk in my home city in Portugal, people see that as normal and this is normal, the same thing is normal when I am in London."

Also linked with the Manchester United and Manchester City roles, Mourinho does not expect either of those jobs to be available any time soon.



"I think Manchester is Sir Alex's kingdom and I would love that job to be his job forever, and for many more years and the other chair is Roberto with a contract," he added.

"He was champion two years ago so I don't think there is a move over there and I hope everything goes well for everyone. Even Benitez, I hope it goes well for him and I wish the same for them as me for it to go well."

Jose Mourinho drops hint

Jose Mourinho has hinted he may return to one of his former clubs, claiming his next move could be to "somewhere I've already been."

The Portuguese's future has been the subject of speculation despite leading Real Madrid to the Primera Division title last term and the fact they are still going strong in the Champions League this season.



Mourinho won two Premier League crowns in three years with Chelsea before leaving in 2007 and has often been linked with a return to Stamford Bridge, where there will be a vacancy in the summer when interim boss Rafael Benitez departs.



And, speaking at the opening of an exhibition in Setubal, Mourinho did little to dampen such talk.



The former Porto, Chelsea and Inter Milan coach was quoted by Football Italia as saying: "I have an adventurous spirit and do not know what will happen next season.



"It's not easy to choose a new destination after working in England, Portugal, Italy and Spain. Maybe I could return to somewhere I've already been. Watch out for surprises."



The 50-year-old, who won an historic treble of Serie A, Champions League and Coppa Italia titles with Inter before leaving for Real in 2010, added: "If God keeps me healthy, then I am only halfway through my management career."

Mourinho: 'Don't compare me to Andre Villas-Boas"

Real Madrid coach Jose Mourinho has said that he sees no similarities between himself and Andre Villas-Boas.

Despite both Portuguese coaches working for Porto at a young age and managing Chelsea in the Premier League, los Blancos boss believes that Villas-Boas's career does not have any resemblance to his own.



"I don't see anything of myself in Andre Villas-Boas," Mourinho told RTP1.



"He has accessed places others couldn't. I follow his career regularly. I know there is a Jose Mourinho effect in the young Portuguese.



"There is a lot of young people who dream about being a coach. Twenty years ago the youngsters wanted to be players, not coaches."



Mourinho looks set to leave Madrid in the summer after all but conceding La Liga to bitter arch-rivals Barcelona.

Mourinho: Ronaldo is the best

Cristiano Ronaldo netted the winner to boot Manchester United out of the Champions League, but Jose Mourinho says he is nothing without the team.



Real Madrid beat United 2-1 in the second leg of their round of 16 fixture, for a 3-2 aggregate win, with Ronaldo bagging his 40th goal in 41 official appearances this term.



Mourinho says Ronaldo is “the best”, but insists that does not mean he wins matches on his own.

"We never say that Cristiano is responsible when we lose a game, and we can’t think that he is the only one who wins it. Without the team he isn’t anything, but the team without him isn’t the same," the Madrid coach told ITV Sport.

"Cristiano is the best in the world. I saw [Diego] Maradona a couple times and I’ve never seen Pele, but Cristiano is incredible. This man is the best.

"But even he can’t win on his own. The key is in the team."

Mourinho: 'I'm learning from Barca'

Real Madrid boss Jose Mourinho claims he has learned a sporting lesson from Barcelona and is not going to talk about referees ahead of Tuesday's Copa del Rey semi-final second leg at the Camp Nou.



Mourinho spoke to the Spanish media after training in Madrid on Monday, soon after Barcelona's stand-in coach Jordi Roura had questioned the "permissive" refereeing style of Alberto Undiano Mallenco in an apparent attempt to ensure a strict line was taken with any physical play.



The Portuguese said he had nothing to say about the officials because he had learned from the Catalan club that it was not proper to speak about referees or to try and influence them in any way.



"I prefer to stick to the lessons we have received in the past from Barcelona," he said. "Lessons of sportsmanship, of how to act in football.



"I do not speak about referees, nor crowd around them, nor look for yellow cards for opponents, nor conceal things. And, of course, lessons in how to play football, which they do very well. We must try, humbly, to follow that line."



Tuesday's game - the first leg of which ended in a 1-1 draw at the Bernabeu - begins what looks likely to be a season-defining three games in eight days for Madrid.



They face Barcelona in La Liga at the Bernabeu on Saturday and then take on Manchester United in the Champions League at Old Trafford on March 5.



Mourinho said both he and his players, whose struggles against supposedly smaller teams have seen them drop 16 points behind Barcelona in La Liga, enjoyed it when the pressure was on.



"These are the games that we like to play, me just as much as the players," he said. "I prefer games of this size, with this pressure.



"We want the games to come quickly - in the Copa, in La Liga and in the Champions League."



Neither Madrid's recent good record at the Camp Nou, which includes the 2-1 win which clinched last season's La Liga title, nor Barcelona's recent apparent dip in form, would have any bearing on the latest clasico, the coach said.



"This is an isolated game, with nothing to do with past ones," he added. "Anyway, that was a long time ago. We have not played there for months.



"We must try and play as well as possible to get the best result possible. Form does not matter so much in games between the best teams. The moment in which the game is played has no significance."



Madrid fans had positive news from training, with Xabi Alonso and Karim Benzema - both of whom missed Saturday's 2-1 Primera Division comeback win at Deportivo la Coruna through injury - back in harness.



Mourinho said he had not yet decided who would start on Tuesday, but added: "Every player wants to play tomorrow. I like matches like this. Benzema trained with the team yesterday and today as well. I think [Alonso] is ready to play."



Kaka, whose contribution to the comeback at Deportivo included a sweetly-struck 20-yard equaliser and the pass that led to Gonzalo Higuain's late winner, may or may not have a role to play at the Camp Nou, the coach added.



"I do not know," he said. "It is not that I do not want to say, it is that I do not know. I have not thought about it yet. Normally I know and I do not say. This time I do not know."

Mourinho relishing huge tie

Real Madrid manager Jose Mourinho is relishing the chance to face Manchester United again as the sides prepare for their Champions League showdown.



The Spanish champions welcome the Red Devils to the Bernabeu on Wednesday for the first leg - and Mourinho hopes the teams rise to the occasion.

The Portuguese, who was at Old Trafford to see United beat Everton 2-0 on Sunday, told MUTV: "It is the match the world is waiting for. People think we are under pressure because a big team will be out.

"But it is the kind of match we want and the people are not waiting for any other game. I hope we give them what they want."

On pitting his wits against old foe Sir Alex Ferguson, the former Chelsea boss added: "I feel privileged about that because he is such an important person in the world of football and, more importantly, he is good person.

"I have always had a fantastic relationship with him and I am proud of it. We have had so many matches between us which started with Porto. We had some with Chelsea, Inter and now Real. Some I had won, some I have lost, others I have drawn.



"Of course, I want to win and he wants to win, but I believe the loser will have a little bit of space to feel a little bit happy because of the friendship. But make no mistake, I want to win."

Mourinho plays down PSG link

Real Madrid coach Jose Mourinho has conceded defeat in the Primera Liga title race while distancing himself from the Paris Saint-Germain job.



The Portuguese faces an uncertain future at the Bernabeu as Real struggle to close a 15-point gap on league leaders Barcelona, with reports in Spain suggesting Mourinho is also at odds with several club directors and members of his playing staff.



The 49-year-old has been linked with a summer return to England, where he managed Chelsea to two Premier League titles, or a potential move to ambitious French outfit PSG.



An in-depth interview with Mourinho will be broadcast on French radio station RMC Sport this afternoon, but Spanish newspaper AS published several key points of discussion on their official website in advance.



Mourinho told RMC Sport: "The La Liga title is impossible now, there is too big a gap. We have to focus on other goals like the Copa del Rey and the Champions League."



"It does no good to obsess over these things, obsession only makes things more complicated. Nothing will be easy."



"We need to stay calm and make the most of every opportunity."



PSG have struggled to dominate Ligue 1 this season despite heavy investment in the playing squad, with star names Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Thiago Silva and Ezequiel Lavezzi being drafted in by head coach Carlo Ancelotti and director of football Leonardo.



Mourinho believes the capital club will prove to be a force to be reckoned with, both at home and abroad, but rejected suggestions he could replace Ancelotti in the summer.



"No, I don't think I will coach PSG," he added. "The success of PSG with Ancelotti and Leonardo means they have no need for another coach.



"I hope everything goes well for Carlo and PSG."



"Europe needs to have a city like Paris competing at the top level of football, and I think this project is going to work."



The Portuguese was also eager to play down his reputation as a controversial figure having drawn unwanted attention to himself on several occasions.



One such incident resulted in a two-match ban as Mourinho appeared to jab then-Barcelona assistant coach Tito Vilanova in the eye at the end of a Spanish Super Cup game in August 2011.



He added: "People talk about controversies that don't exist. Every day I hear about controversies concerning me but are unfounded."



"I am a football coach, I am just doing my job and trying to get good results."

Mourinho: "One day I will go back to England"

José Mourinho has again expressed his love for the Premier League, claiming that "one day" he will coach in England again because English football "means a lot" to him.



In a video tribute to the FA as part of the latter's 150th anniversary celebrations, Mou admitted that "there couldn't be a better place to go" than England. "My memories in English football couldn't be better", he continued: "I loved it from the first day to the last day. I don't regret my last day because after that I was lucky enough to enjoy Italy and also Spain. But I know that one day I will come back because English football means a lot to myself".



Mourinho believes that English football is "pure football; the football you play as a kid in the street, transported in time and space into organised competitions and into the real world of football. In England you feel the real passion for the game; it's not just about passion for clubs, it's about passion for football and you feel it. When you are in England, you feel proud to be in football".



The Portuguese coach also reflected fondly on the FA Cup, the last trophy he lifted with Chelsea: "I know what I felt when I had to go up the Wembley stairs. For me, the FA Cup represents the passion of football. It represents clean football. It represents the good smell of football", he concluded.
